Muthu Newton Hotel sits in 21 acres of mature parkland with views over the Moray Firth and the Black Isles. The 63-bedroom property includes 7 courtyard rooms separate from the main building, each with en suite bathroom and TV. Dating back to 1872, the hotel was once regularly visited by Charlie Chaplin, and the grounds now house Highland cows in an adjacent field.

Chaplin's Restaurant serves dinner in the conservatory, focusing on Scottish cuisine and local seafood. The hotel holds a Gold Award of Excellence for Best Hotel Dinner by CIE clients.
